Master & Apprentice System (MAS)

To get an apprentice, look for Guo Zi Jian in Bian Jing. After you register “want apprentice”, press F3 and you will notice a new tab available. You can Ctrl+Right click on player nearby and choose “Accept Apprentice”. There are two type of apprentice:

• Temporary Apprentice – for those below level 10
• Permenant Apprenctice - Once they reach level 10, party with the person and the person use pray to apply as formal apprentice.

Guo Zi Jian Bonus

You can use bonus to buy thing for your apprentices (require song ingot). You can get salary when he/she grows. If your apprentice fulfills all requirements, you can redeem 6 x salaries. It will be counted from the moment the apprentice become formal. Previous fulfillment is not included for master salary (for example, the apprentice had another master before you). Master can use check bonus to check which bonus redeem by previous master.

How to end master apprentice relationship?


When your apprentice level 73, you can redeem graduation quest from Guo Zi Jian. After you get graduation whistle, party with your apprentice, go outskirt map and use it to summon Guo Zi Jian examiner. Defeat him (last hit must be done by your apprentice). Then form a pt with your apprentice and let him/her to pray you to complete the graduation.

Note: if you bought your apprentice Guo Zi Jian bonus, after your apprentice graduate 15 days, you can redeem salary 100% (for 3 times, each after 15 days). The other way is to expel your apprentice, just right click him and expel. (Require 99 piece of charm paper) and cannot add new apprentice within 24 hours. If you bought Guo Zi Jian bonus for the apprentice, the unredeemed salary will be clear. You can only redeem 80% salary each 15 days (twice only). If your apprentice betrays you, you can get 100% salary after 15 days (only twice). Apprentice can betray by using 99 MA charm paper.

Reward an apprentice can get
You can get “Younger pack” when you become formal apprentice. You can get “good future pack” when level 45. You can get “MA revelation pack” when level 60 You can get MA Appreciation Pack when you complete graduation quest

MA quest

As a master, you can go to Gui Zi Jian Officer and choose a quest for your apprentice to do. There are 7 quests you can choose. The duration for the quest is 24 hour only. When the quest complete, a master can get MA point while Apprentice get reward. 1 quest complete = 10 MA.

Types Of MA quest Available

1. Complete school quest x2 or merchant guild quest x20 .
   Apprentice reward: 15 school contribution 
2. Complete fugitive questx5 or merchantguild quest x20.
   Apprentice reward: 50 reputation. 
3. Complete battlefield x1 round or merchant guild quest x20.
   Apprentice reward: 150 military merit 
4. Pass through 2nd stage of hidden sword pavilion or merchant guild quest x20.
   Apprentice reward: (level x level x 110)exp 
5. Complete 4 realm of Taixu Fantasy realm or merchant guild quest x20.
   Apprentice reward : (level x level x 120) exp 
6. Complete Dragon boat match x4 or merchant guild quest x20.
   Apprentice reward: level x level x 100) exp
7. Complete individual battle arena x5 or merchant guild quest x20.
   Apprentice reward: (level x level x 100) exp

What does ME point do?

ME point determine your teaching level. The higher teaching level you have, the more apprentice you can get. The highest for currently one is 10 where the slot for apprentices is 15.

• Level 2, 100 ME point ; 4 apprentices 
• Level 3, 300 ME point ; 5 apprentices 
• Level 4, 550 ME point ; 6 apprentices

• Level 7, 1600 ME point ; 9 apprentices 
• Level 8, 2000 ME point ; 10 apprentices

Hidden Sword Pavilion Mission - Part II

Step #3:  Missy


To get boss out you need to kill all Old Servant Ladies first once boss appear hero WS can lure boss to bottom right corner and fight her there ! WS hero fight boss using the same skill describe in previous steps. Other hero could partially fight boss but make sure you all protect WS & ES hero is boss body guard(s) come out that very important.

Step #4: Manor Owner


All hero go up except ES need to activate step and fight lamps. If you team has WB hero, this hero can get into the middle of the stage and lure boss to the position showed in the picture. Once boss lock make sure boss walk "patrol" otherwise he will use nasty skill and it hard to complete this stage. The most important part in this stage is to absorb poison throw by boss, which allow BC hero to copy the poison and pass it on to boss in later steps.

WuDang Sword Combo Attack

WuDang Sword (WS) is one of the main hero in JX always need the most; WS is good in support attack it a bit weak for dual match especially with Yang Horse Rider (YCR) or Shaolin Zen (SZ) however if you know how to play your hero properly the truth is different let us all see some move

Hidden Sword Pavilion Mission - Part I

One of the most exciting event while playing JXII is to form party and take on Hidden Sword Pavilion MIssion or HS for short quoted from JXII official website

Hidden Sword Pavilion is a mission that will get from doing school quest from the chief of your joined sect. To enter to the Hidden Sword Pavilion, at least you have base level 50 and already joined a sect.

To summary a hero/heroine go HS for their own reason

• To complete Big Quest Happening given by School Leader & to obtain scroll
  
• To save up HS point in order to exchange EXP or HS jade item(s)
• To help friend complete Big Quest Happening (one of Fan~Er job)
• To have fun :)

However if it is your first journey you wonder how you should play your hero? If that your question then read it on because I am going to explain how you should behave when get into HS zone :) this explanation will split into series of post to avoid a long reading :D

First thing first I recommend you to read and introduction topic about Hidden Sword Pavilion Mission before proceed.

Alright, I hope by getting to this paragraph you should know what the requirement are and how many step you need to go through right but keep it simple there are 7 steps and all you need is a Hero Invitation Card can purchase from Imperial Street or buy from other hero.

Step #1: Manor Manager

At the beginning all heroes can fight boss body guard(s) BUT if your hero is WS make sure you reserve some mana to lure boss to the location showed in the picture you need to use Telekinetic Sword to move from boss standing location to prefered location showed in the picture.

ES hero job is to support HP & Mana to WS hero.

Once boss locked WS hero then use Ba Kua Sword to attack boss until defeated.

Step #2: Inner Court Manager

This is the most easy step after defeat boss body guard(s) any hero can lure boss to the middle arena as showed in the picture; but it best if your team have WB hero lure the boss.

Once boss get into the locking area WS should stand 4 squar from the boss standing platform and ES hero behind support HP & Mana.

* Note * when each boss defeated he/she will drop Big Quest Happening item and a Chest if your team had the same Big Quest step make sure you wait a few second before you decided to pickup the item for your master. But for the Chest before pickup make sure that the item inside is belong to your Sect otherwise you will upset your team mate and also get HS point cut too.
